Responsibilities

- Support children’s social-emotional development by encouraging cooperation, empathy, and self-regulation skills.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to monitor each child's progress and address individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Maintain accurate records of children's developmental milestones, attendance, and assessments such as standardized testing when applicable.
- Create a safe and clean environment by adhering to childcare regulations and health protocols.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, literacy skills, and physical activity while incorporating classroom experience and lesson planning expertise.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler care, preschool experience, and classroom management strategies.
- Proficiency in curriculum development across various subjects such as math, literacy education, physical education, and Montessori techniques.
- Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds, including those with special needs or requiring early intervention services.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and children.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies that foster positive social interactions.
- Familiarity with childcare regulations, daycare standards, private school environments, and child welfare practices.
- Competence in using teaching tools such as standardized testing assessments or tutoring methods to evaluate progress.
