PAY: $18-22 PER HR + INCENTIVE
Position Summary
The Powersports B Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining motorcycles, ATVs, and especially UTVs/side-by-sides according to manufacturer standards. This position performs intermediate-level mechanical and electrical repairs, supports senior technicians with complex diagnostics, and helps ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and scheduled services on powersports vehicles

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, fuel, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems

Perform service and repair work on UTVs/side-by-sides, including:

Suspension and steering components
-
Axles, differentials, and driveline systems
-
Electrical accessories and lighting
-
Winches, roofs, doors, lift kits, and aftermarket upgrades
-
Install OEM and aftermarket accessories
-
Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and setup on new units
-
Use diagnostic software, service manuals, and scan tools effectively
-
Test operate vehicles after repairs to verify proper function

Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation

Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Assist less experienced technicians when needed
Qualifications
-
2–5 years of powersports, ATV, UTV, or automotive repair experience preferred
-
Strong knowledge of UTV/side-by-side systems and components
-
Technical school training preferred

OEM certifications are a plus

Experience with electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting

Ability to operate shop equipment and diagnostic tools

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
