Copake Lake Boat & Ski Corp. is seeking an additional boat mechanic/technician to join our team in Copake, NY directly on the beautiful Copake Lake. The role of Boat Mechanic includes but is not limited to the following duties:
- All aspects of regular maintenance of customer and marina owned boats (inboard and outboard motors) during the boating season, including identifying and solving issues.
- The main duties involve mechanical repairs(and servicing), some plumbing and electrical work (12volt and 220volt).
- This role also involves direct contact with our customers and our other team members.
- The suitable applicant must have a driver license and have a flexible approach to working hours during the season (April - Mid November) although maintaining a typical work week of 40 hours.
- Other responsibilities will include dock repairs and general maintenance.
This position is full time for the season (April - Mid November) but we may consider applicants looking for part time work
Skills:
- Able to service & repair inboard, in/outboard and outboard motors.
- Confident with 12V electrics.
- Ability to work independently, seeking advice when required.
- Must be able to work in a clean and tidy manner.

Salary: $25-$45 per hour based on experience
