Peer Support Program ManagerJob SummaryThe Peer Support Program Manager oversees the day-to-day operations, strategic planning, and staffing of the peer advocacy and recovery program. This role combines administrative project management with direct client advocacy. The ideal candidate leverages their own sustained recovery journey to manage a team of Peer Support Specialists, ensure grant or regulatory compliance, and collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical staff to deliver person-centered care.Required Credentials
- Active Peer Support Specialist Certification is required.
Core ResponsibilitiesProgram Management & Logistics
- System Infrastructure: Develop, implement, and maintain program policies, operational workflows, and documentation procedures.
- Compliance & Funding: Track key deliverables for grants and state funding to ensure timely reporting and full regulatory compliance.
- Budget Monitoring: Assist in forecasting annual funds required for program supplies, training materials, and staffing costs.
- Community Outreach: Coordinate with judges, medical personnel, and social services to market the program and streamline client referrals.
Staff Leadership & Supervision
- Personnel Supervision: Interview, hire, onboard, train, and evaluate assigned Peer Support Specialists.
- Mentorship: Provide ongoing individualized guidance, professional boundary coaching, and group supervision to the peer team.
- Training Management: Identify workforce training gaps and ensure all staff maintain active state peer certifications and alignment with ethical standards.
