Duties
- Use warehouse management systems and scanners to accurately pick, pack, and track orders.
- Perform order picking and packing with precision, ensuring correct items are selected and properly packaged for shipment.
- Conduct quality control checks on products to verify accuracy and condition before dispatch.
- Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and updating inventory management systems regularly.
- Follow safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling procedures, and heavy equipment operation guidelines.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by loading/unloading trucks and verifying shipments against documentation.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials efficiently for optimal workflow.
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in roles involving order fulfillment or inventory management.
- Experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership roles is a plus but not required.
- Basic math skills are necessary for inventory counts, measurements, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, mechanical equipment operation, and manual handling procedures is important.
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accuracy in picking & packing processes.
