American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with pediatric experience for a 13-week outpatient assignment in Colorado, working four 10-hour day shifts Monday through Thursday.

Outpatient pediatric PT unit with occasional inpatient acute coverage as needed
-
Common diagnoses include developmental delay, autism, torticollis, and orthopedic conditions
-
Caseload of approximately 8–10 patients per day

Facility features a warm water therapy pool used in treatment

Potential involvement in early intervention services

Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, with flexible self-scheduling for patients

Blocked time available for inpatient evals and documentation

Very rare occasional weekend on-call required

No holiday coverage required

13-week contract

Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience with some pediatric experience required

Ability to perform pediatric evaluations and treatments required

Active CO PT license or compact PT license required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted

Active BLS (AHA) certification required; pending certifications not accepted

A driver's license is required for consideration

Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility; a driver's license is used to verify permanent address

License required if applicable

Responsibilities include pediatric PT evaluations and treatments across outpatient and occasional inpatient acute settings, as well as potential early intervention support

Team includes one pediatric PTA

One week of on-site orientation required; clinicians must be in-state for the orientation week even if initial modules are remote

Scrubs or business casual attire accepted

Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates who worked PRN through outside firms will be considered

Travelers are expected to float within their assigned zone and should secure housing accordingly
