Edge Dance & Performing Arts Center and Twinkle Star Dance Academy Plano are looking for a high-energy, dependable, and enthusiastic Dance Teacher to join our growing team!
We’re searching for someone who genuinely loves working with young children, enjoys creating fun and engaging classes, and is looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow.
We provide the curriculum, training, and support. You bring the passion, positivity, professionalism, and energy that make children excited to come back to dance each week. ✨
Responsibilities
- Teach dance classes for children ages 18 months–10 years using our established curriculum.
- Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment.
- Build strong relationships with students and families.
- Maintain high levels of student engagement and help support student retention.
- Communicate professionally and warmly with parents, students, and staff.
- Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to teach.
- Participate in recitals, performances, studio events, and teacher training.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching dance or working with young children through dance, gymnastics, cheer, preschool, childcare, education, or a similar setting.
- High-energy, reliable, positive, and professional.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Comfortable following an established curriculum and receiving ongoing training.
- Interested in a long-term position with opportunities to grow within our company.
- Background check required.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Weekday evenings Mon-Friday
- Weekend availability required for classes, performances, recitals, special events, and teacher training.
