Position Summary
The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for leading projects from preconstruction through closeout while supporting business development efforts through accurate estimating and client relationship management. This role serves as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Preconstruction
-
Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.

Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor proposals.

Develop project budgets, scopes of work, and value engineering recommendations.

Participate in bid reviews and client presentations.
Project Management

Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and field personnel.

Monitor project costs and prepare financial forecasts.

Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.

Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, contract requirements, and company procedures.

Client & Team Leadership

Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Collaborate closely with superintendents and field teams to drive project success.

Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions.

Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

5+ years of commercial construction estimating and/or project management experience.

Experience with healthcare, corporate interiors, life sciences, education, or institutional projects preferred.

Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
