Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, ensuring efficient shift management, and maintaining high service standards
- Support staff training and development to promote team growth, including onboarding new team members and conducting performance evaluations
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Control inventory levels through regular stock checks, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
- Ensure compliance with health regulations by supervising food safety practices and maintaining cleanliness standards in kitchen and dining areas
- Contribute to budgeting efforts by analyzing profit and loss reports, assisting with cost control initiatives, and supporting overall financial goals
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams, managing shifts, and training staff effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety management, and kitchen operations within a hospitality or casual dining setting
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, order calculations, and financial analysis
- Effective communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, team management, and staff development
