The Case Aide plays a key support role within CityLinC’s Foster Care, Adoption, and Licensing programs by assisting with service delivery, administrative tasks, transportation, supervised visits, and case-related support. This position ensures continuity, safety, and relational support for children and families served by the agency. The Case Aide works closely with case managers, licensing staff, foster families, biological families, and community partners to uphold CityLinC’s mission to strengthen children and families through Christ-centered care and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Program Support
-Assist case managers and licensing staff in delivering direct support to children and families.
-Supervise family visits and appointments, documenting interactions in accordance with policy.
-Provide transportation for children and families to court hearings, visitations, medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other required services. Please note: CityLinC Ministries has company vehicles available; however, employees must also be willing and able to use their own reliable personal vehicle for transporting children and families when a company vehicle is unavailable. A valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation are required. Mileage reimbursement is provided for approved business travel.
-Facilitate communication between children, biological families, and foster families to support stability and reunification or permanency goals.
-Assist with adoption-related activities, including coordination of visits, documentation, and family support.
Administrative Support
-Assist with scheduling appointments, home visits, and meetings.
-Support staff in organizing and maintaining case files and documentation.
-Perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, copying, scanning, and uploading documents.
-Redact and request case-related documentation, especially for adoption and licensing files.
-Assist with case closures and record archiving in accordance with state and agency requirements.
Documentation & Reporting
-Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation of visits, transportation, and client interactions.
-Enter required case information into MiSACWIS or other tracking systems.
-Assist in preparing case summaries, reports, and court-related documentation.
Community Resource Coordination
-Connect children and families with resources such as counseling, healthcare, education, and basic needs support.
-Assist in delivering essential items (clothing, hygiene products, school supplies) to foster and adoptive families as needed.
Advocacy & Relationship Building
-Build trusting, respectful relationships with children, foster families, and biological families.
-Provide support using trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approaches.
-Represent CityLinC with integrity and compassion in all interactions.
Compliance & Training
-Adhere to all child welfare laws, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
-Report safety concerns immediately in accordance with mandated reporting laws.
-Attend required trainings in child welfare, trauma-informed care, and licensing standards.
-Maintain certifications in First Aid/CPR and car seat safety (provided by CityLinC).

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
