Overview
We are a small family owned and run childcare center, seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities and individualized attention. They will be reliable and motivated. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery through play!
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive atmosphere.
- Provide care for infants and/or toddlers, including assistance with daily activities such as feeding, diapering, and nap time.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and communicating with parents about their achievements.
- Foster strong relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional well-being.
- work well with other team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom and center space.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and other staff.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students.
- First Aid/CPR preferred but not required. Would be required upon hire(we pay for all required trainings.
Monthly bonus currently available for all eligible staff through the Wage Supplement Program.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.20 - $15.55 per hour

License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
