We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to join our team. This role involves managing the movement of goods, operating warehouse equipment, pick-ups and deliveries using a company cargo van, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, forklift operation, and shipping & receiving processes to support efficient warehouse operations and timely distribution.
Duties
- Inspect and receive products, ensuring conformance to specifications
- Pick, pack, label and ship products, following procedures and ensuring accurate order fulfillment
- Safely operate forklift / reach truck and pallet jacks, to pick and stock products within the warehouse
- Securely load and unload pallets and cartons to make local pickups and deliveries using a company cargo van
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments using ERP / WMS system
- Maintain inventory accuracy by stocking products correctly and performing cycle counts on a regular basis
- Optimize space utilization and product flow by consolidating and re-organizing inventory for the most efficient picking workflow
- Utilize basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations during cycle counting, receiving, packing and shipping processes
- Support warehouse operations by maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Oversee QA inspection
- Ensure all standard processes are followed, and that all scheduled orders ship on time
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, or related roles with knowledge of warehouse distribution processes
- Good driving record with no more than 2 points and no DUI's
- Recent experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) / ERP systems, and order fulfillment software such as Odoo, Netsuite, SAP or similar
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds regularly and standing for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations
- Good computer and keyboard skills
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking, packing, and documentation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience working in e-commerce or fast-paced distribution environment.
