We are seeking hardworking, dependable individuals to join our growing team as a Pool Construction & Service Technician. This position involves both residential pool construction and pool service work, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair. We are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
ResponsibilitiesConstruction Duties
- Assist in the construction and installation of in-ground pools
- Perform physical labor including digging, leveling, plumbing, and material handling
- Operate basic hand and power tools
- Help install pool equipment, liners, and structural components
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follow directions from crew leaders and supervisors
Service & Maintenance Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pool systems including circulation, filtration, heating, and sanitation
- Repair and replace equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, autocovers, valves, and plumbing components
- Troubleshoot and repair hot tubs
- Open and close pools seasonally
- Document service visits, findings, and repairs
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding service needs and system performance
Schedule
- 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
- Overtime available as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting, digging, and standing for long periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction, plumbing, mechanical, or electrical systems preferred
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred Experience
- Construction, landscaping, pool installation, or service experience
- Mechanical or technical troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with pool equipment and tools
