Here at the "Paint Farm” We specialize in vintage cars and trucks, with a large majority of the work being Jeeps, specifically 1986 and older models
Responsibilities:
- Perform auto body repairs needed for a vintage automotive shop
-mid level to expert body prep, heat shrink, filler, sanding mandatory
-Spray full bodies, panels, pieces and parts all needed for restoration a plus
-Ability to weld sheet metal, rust repair and fabricated repair panels from scratch a plus
-Float panels, pre-paint prep, taping, final prep, panel fitment
-understanding of filler, sanding and spraying
-ability to mix paint, primer, sealer, poppys patina a plus
-M-F 5:30am to 2PM. 40 hours a week, overtime always avail but not required.
-Deer valley airpark location
-3 years' worth of work in yard, booking 2 years out
-must be experienced and motivated able to tolerate AZ summer and typical paint and body shop dust and humor :)
Qualifications:
- Min 5 year's experience in an automotive/body shop work environment or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and procedures
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and sense of humor
