We are seeking an experienced construction masonry and concrete estimator to prepare accurate bids and help drive the success of commercial and residential masonry projects.
Responsibilities
review plans, specifications and project documents
perform quality takeoffs for block, brick, stone, concrete and related materials
prepare detailed and competitive project estimating using an excel worksheet
solicit and evaluate subcontractors and suppliers for pricing
Track bid opportunities and meet proposal deadline
assist with value engineering and cost analysis
Qualifications
3+ years of masonry and concrete construction estimating experience required
strong understanding of masonry and concrete construcktjoim methods and materials
ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
experience with estimating soft ware and Microsoft office, excel, OST & Bluebeam
excellent organizational and communication skills
detailed oriented with strong mathematical abilities
