Position Summary
Bloom Global Travel Experiences is seeking an energetic, professional, and relationship-driven Student Outreach Coordinator to serve as the face of our educational travel programs throughout the community. This position is responsible for promoting Bloom Global Travel Experiences' college tours by building meaningful partnerships with schools, community organizations, religious institutions, youth programs, and families.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with students, communicating with parents and educators, and representing a mission-driven organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities through travel.
This is an entry-level position with a defined career pathway to College Tour Recruitment Coordinator upon the successful completion of multiple Bloom Global college tours or one year of successful employment, whichever comes first.

Student Outreach Coordinator – Columbus, OH
Essential Responsibilities
The Student Outreach Coordinator will:
- Promote Bloom Global Travel Experiences' educational travel programs throughout the community.
- Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, middle schools, colleges, youth organizations, religious institutions, nonprofits, and community partners.
- Schedule and conduct meetings, presentations, information sessions, career fairs, open houses, and community events.
- Represent Bloom Global Travel Experiences professionally at all times.
- Educate students, parents, school staff, and community leaders about upcoming college tours and educational travel opportunities.
- Assist interested families with the registration and enrollment process.
- Follow up with prospective participants and families to encourage enrollment.
- Build relationships with principals, counselors, college and career advisors, coaches, teachers, youth leaders, and community organizations.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and distribution of promotional materials throughout assigned service areas.
- Support community engagement efforts and social media outreach.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, contacts, and prospective participants.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and assigned Bloom Global events.
- Assist with student check-in, tour logistics, and on-site support during college tours as assigned.
- Perform additional outreach and promotional duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements
- Must be willing and able to travel within a 50-mile radius for outreach activities, school visits, community events, and promotional opportunities.
- Mileage reimbursement will be provided for approved business travel.
- Occasional overnight and out-of-state travel may be required to support Bloom Global Travel Experiences programs and events.
- Must possess reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver's license.
QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or GED.
- One (1) to three (3) years of customer service experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email, and internet applications.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Preferred
- Experience working with students, schools, youth organizations, or educational programs.
- Experience in community outreach, recruiting, admissions, marketing, or public relations.
- Background in education or working with children is a plus.
Compensation
The starting pay for the Student Outreach Coordinator position is $18.00 per hour.
Employees may become eligible for a pay increase after their 30-day introductory period. Additional opportunities for compensation increases may be available based on continued performance, successful evaluations, and organizational needs.
