Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong troubleshooting skills and tool making experience? We're looking for a skilled professional to maintain production equipment, fabricate tooling, and help keep manufacturing operations running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Repair production equipment including hoists, pumps, agitators, filtration systems, ovens, rectifiers, and chemical feed systems
- Replace bearings, belts, seals, motors, valves, piping, and electrical components
- Manufacture, modify, and repair production tooling, fixtures, racks, and workholding devices
- Operate manual milling machines, surface grinders, drill presses, and band saws
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and electrical schematics
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Assist with facility maintenance, including HVAC, compressed air, water systems, lighting, and building repairs
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
- Follow OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and all required safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical school or apprenticeship preferred
- 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Tool maker or manual machinist experience preferred
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment
- Experience operating manual milling machines, surface grinders, and fabrication equipment
- Basic PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
- Manufacturing, metal finishing, or electroplating experience is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in an industrial manufacturing environment
