Position Overview
Bells Fam Logistics LLC is looking for a dependable and motivated Driver/Furniture Mover to join our growing team. This position requires safely operating a 26-foot box truck while providing professional furniture delivery, assembly, and moving services. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values customer service, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box truck for local deliveries and moves.
- Load, unload, and transport furniture while preventing damage.
- Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed.
- Secure items properly for safe transportation.
- Provide excellent customer service at every job.
- Complete deliveries on time and maintain accurate paperwork.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after each shift.
- Work as part of a team to complete residential and commercial moves.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of experience driving a 26-foot box truck.
- Previous furniture delivery, moving, or furniture assembly experience required.
- Ability to safely lift and move furniture weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to use moving equipment such as dollies, straps, and moving blankets.
- Must pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with furniture assembly (IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon, etc.).
- Experience working with residential and commercial customers.
- DOT Medical Card is a plus but not required.
