A1 Wine & Spirits is looking for a reliable, friendly, and responsible Retail Store Clerk to join our team. We are looking for someone who provides excellent customer service, works well with others, and can help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service
* Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, credit/debit card, and other transactions
* Assist customers with locating products and answering general product questions
* Help promote store products and specials
* Assist with alcohol sampling and promotional events when scheduled
* Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain product displays
* Keep the sales floor, checkout area, counters, and other store areas clean and organized
* Monitor inventory and notify management when products need to be restocked
* Verify customer identification and follow all applicable laws and store policies regarding alcohol sales
* Help receive and organize product deliveries as needed
* Perform opening and/or closing duties depending on the assigned shift
* Work cooperatively with management and other team members
Qualifications
* Must meet all legal age requirements for selling and handling alcohol in Missouri
* Previous retail, cashier, convenience store, or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
* Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Comfortable handling cash and operating a point-of-sale/register system
* Ability to stand for extended periods and perform general stocking and cleaning duties
* Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
