Job Summary:
Avir at Pebble Creek, a premier healthcare provider in El Paso, TX, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing units, while also providing exceptional patient care and leading by example. We currently have Weekend Doubles full time, Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm and Weekend am part time.
Responsibilities:
Lead by example: Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards and policies.
Assess and prioritize: Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify patient needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
Communicate effectively: Foster open and respectful communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
Manage and delegate: Safely and efficiently manage patient assignments, delegate tasks to nursing staff, and prioritize tasks to meet patient needs and unit goals.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement activities, such as identifying and implementing best practices, and participating in root cause analysis and performance improvement projects.
