Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Conduct route driving to visit clients, deliver products, and ensure timely service delivery
- Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pricing negotiations, and customer interactions
- Perform merchandising tasks to ensure product displays are attractive and well-stocked
- Assist with heavy lifting of merchandise during deliveries or stock replenishment
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and sales techniques
- Valid commercial driving license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving preferred
- Excellent math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and profit margins
- Proven ability in upselling and cross-selling to increase sales volume
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills to build lasting client relationships
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries or stock management
- Strong organizational skills for route planning, inventory management, and record keeping
- Experience in merchandising and route driving is highly desirable
- Military background or experience is a plus, demonstrating discipline and teamwork skills
