Duties
- Prepare a variety of menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and food safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pans, and food production machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist in menu planning and meal preparation for high-volume service periods
- Serve food to guests with professionalism and excellent customer service skills
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing kitchen surfaces and dishware following food safety procedures
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed at all times
- Support catering events by assisting with setup, serving, and cleanup tasks
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary aide roles or the food industry is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and knife skills
- Experience with food handling, meal preparation, and operating kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe adherence in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively in high-volume production settings while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
