Do you have the people skills of a concierge and an affinity for felines? We'd love to have you be the friendly face (and calm voice) that welcomes our clients - both human and feline!
As a privately owned practice, we strive to create and maintain a bond with our amazing clientele and patients. We are looking for an experienced veterinary receptionist who is naturally welcoming, people-oriented, and focused on creating a positive experience for every client.
Our hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, and we're closed on weekends. We value a health work/life balance, and working in a feline-only clinic means last minute emergencies are rare - most days, we are out the door right at 5:30pm.
Who we are looking for:
- You're a people-person (and a cat-person!)
- You're punctual, dependable, and drama-free - we mean it!
- You're a warm, sociable individual with exceptional customer service skills
- Your written communication shows a solid grasp of grammar, spelling, and professional tone
- You've spent enough time working in a veterinary setting to comfortably field common client questions about care, medications, and scheduling.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Help create a calm, welcoming, cat-friendly vibe in the lobby
- Interact with clients and patients with genuine warmth and compassion
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide information about our services
- Handle payments, paperwork, and maintain accurate medical records
- Be a liaison between our medical team and our clients
Bonus Points:
- You're already familiar with Pulse veterinary software
- You love keeping a clean and organized workspace
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Employee discount
- Health insurance
- Health savings account
- Paid time off
- Uniform allowance
Work Location: In person
