Overview
Join Econ World Trading as a Warehouse Associate and play a key role in our restaurant equipment and supply distribution operations. In this position, you will support daily warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, organizing, and preparing restaurant equipment and supplies for pickup or delivery. You will assist with handling large and heavy items such as refrigeration units, stainless steel equipment, and smallwares while maintaining accurate inventory and a safe, organized warehouse environment. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency to ensure timely and reliable service for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, replenishment, and organization using warehouse management systems.
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving tasks to fulfill customer orders efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with materials handling activities including heavy lifting, stocking shelves, and load & unload operations to ensure timely product movement.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards by conducting routine safety checks on equipment like crane and forklift operations and adhering to proper packaging procedures.
- Support warehouse distribution processes by coordinating with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and ensure inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by participating in warehouse audits, inventory management reviews, and process enhancements.
Experience
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and materials handling.
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance is highly desirable.
- Prior experience with warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for safe warehouse operations.
- Experience in manufacturing or construction environments involving heavy lifting and mechanical tasks is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
