What you’ll do
Nurses are responsible for caring for residents who require extended medical care. You will oversee treatments and ensure compliance with prescribed therapies. In your role, you will:
- Work closely with a dedicated team of nurses, medication aides, caregivers, dietary aides, housekeepers, case managers, and nurse leaders to provide exceptional care.
- Ensure clinical practices meet high safety and sanitation standards while following professional nursing guidelines.
- Keep documentation, medication administration, resident care, safety, staff training, quality improvement, and resident rights in line with facility standards.
- Often provide care for residents with dementia, advanced wound care needs, dialysis, heart failure, and IV medications.
What you’ll bring
- active RN or LPN Kentucky license required
- 2 years of experience in long-term care setting preferred
- well-developed clinical skills are essential
- experience with a team nursing approach
- consent to a background check and drug screen

Qualifications/Skills Needed:

Current, valid LPN license in good standing in Kentucky.

Completion of accredited LPN nursing program.
- CPR certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, turning, and assisting residents.
- Compassionate attitude and strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff.

Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred but not required.
