ULTRALawn is hiring both entry-level and experienced team members.
If you’re new to the industry, we offer hands-on training and an opportunity to build valuable skills. If you already have experience in lawn care, landscaping, mowing, pesticide application, equipment operation, or crew leadership, we’ll consider that experience when determining your starting pay, responsibilities, and placement.
Starting pay ranges from $17–$25 per hour based on relevant experience, certifications, driving record, and position placement.
How Placement Works
This opening covers several field opportunities within ULTRALawn. Your primary assignment will be based on your experience, qualifications, interests, and our current staffing needs.
Team members may be placed primarily in:
- Lawn treatment and fertilizer application
- Commercial or residential mowing
- Landscape maintenance
- Aeration and other specialty lawn services
- Perimeter pest or mosquito control
- Seasonal property maintenance
Although employees generally have a primary area of responsibility, everyone must be willing to assist other service teams when weather, scheduling, or workload requires it.
No professional lawn or landscape experience is required for entry-level opportunities. We provide training for dependable candidates who are willing to learn.
What You’ll Do
Depending on your placement, responsibilities may include:
- Performing lawn treatments, mowing, landscape maintenance, or seasonal services
- Operating and maintaining professional equipment and company trucks
- Completing assigned routes or daily work schedules
- Inspecting properties and identifying service concerns
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Completing service records and notes using a company tablet
- Working independently or as part of a crew
- Learning additional services, equipment, and technical skills
- Assisting other departments when needed
Opportunities for Growth
This position can be a starting point or the next step in an existing green-industry career.
New employees can receive training and work toward greater responsibility through equipment proficiency, service knowledge, pesticide certification, and dependable performance.
Experienced applicants may be considered for higher starting pay and positions involving independent routes, specialized equipment, certified applications, crew leadership, or training newer employees.
We promote from within, and experienced candidates are not expected to start from scratch.
Schedule
- Full-time seasonal work, primarily spring through fall
- Hours and overtime vary based on weather, workload, and seasonal demands
- Opportunities for winter work and long-term employment
- Field employees participate in our snow-removal on-call rotation
Snow events may require early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and short-notice call-ins.

What We’re Looking For
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Dependable and punctual
- Consistent work history
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Comfortable performing physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willing to help in multiple service areas when needed
- Friendly, professional attitude
- Commitment to providing quality work and excellent customer service
Previous lawn care, landscaping, agriculture, construction, equipment, route-service, or trade experience is helpful but not required.
