Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Preschool Center Director to lead and inspire our early childhood education community in South KC. Responsibilities
- Should be available to work all shifts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Provide visionary leadership to create an enriching and inclusive preschool environment that promotes early childhood development.
- Implement innovative curriculum plans aligned with educational standards to foster creativity, curiosity, and learning.
- Manage daily operations including staffing, budgeting, enrollment, and facility maintenance to ensure smooth center functioning.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to grow the center’s impact within the community through outreach, partnerships, and fundraising efforts.
- Supervise teaching staff by providing mentorship, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting professional growth.
- Oversee compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.
- Represent the center at community events and public speaking engagements to promote its mission and attract new families.
Qualifications
- You must obtain or be able to obtain a directors certificate for 100+ learners.
- Proven experience in education administration or early childhood program management with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Extensive classroom experience working directly with young children in a preschool setting. 30-40% of your time will be spent in classrooms.
- Strong background in curriculum development tailored for early learners.
- Skilled in strategic planning, budgeting, fundraising, and managing operational workflows.
- Excellent management skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills suitable for public speaking, staff training, and community engagement.

Pay: $44,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
