American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience to provide coverage across outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings in an acute care hospital.

Acute care hospital setting with a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) trauma level
-
8-bed Physical Therapy unit
-
Provides coverage across outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings, primarily outpatient hospital-based
-
Monday-Friday day shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
-
No weekends and no call required

Uses EPIC for charting
-
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist required

Current BLS certification required
-
License required if applicable

Must be licensed in the state of SD as a Physical Therapist

Experience with computerized charting and modality equipment

Administers physical therapy interventions and documents patient evaluations while establishing and modifying therapeutic plans as needed

Educates patients and family members on treatment plans and home exercise programs

Treats individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses and disorders using age-appropriate techniques

Incorporates current research and evidence-based practice into daily patient treatment

Adheres to departmental documentation guidelines and clinical practice standards

Facility orientation covers safety measures, HIPAA, and standard precautions, with additional in-department training on setting-specific equipment and modalities

Dress code is business casual

All clinicians are required to badge in and out at the facility

Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility may be considered
