Our Security Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas at a busy government transportation location, helping to support a secure environment for travelers, staff, and visitors. In this unarmed patrol role, you will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information through proper channels.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, roadways, and perimeter access points to help identify security-related concerns and/or policy violations.

Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and access points, verifying authorized entry and challenging unauthorized activity in accordance with site procedures.

Support daily operations at a government transportation location by communicating with site contacts, assisting with directional questions, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or suspicious activity observations.
Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
