We are looking for a Quality Control Sample Teachnician that will be responsible for the performance of a variety of analyses related to departmental functions: Operates lab equipment according to specifications, and accurately reviews and reports results of work.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works with the laboratory to facilitate outbound samples in a timely manner.
- Performs environmental monitoring
- For products, help develop technical specifications including of QA and Regulatory requirements.
- Assist in creation and approval of product skus to ensue they meet all internal and regulatory requirements.
- Performs routine and non-routine sampling and supportive documentation
- Performs routine and non-routine product testing for Quality Control
- Makes representative samples to match customers’ specifications/expectations
- Works with R&D team to coordinate the processing of product development samples
- Data entry into the ERP system for communication with pertinent personnel regarding progress and tasks completed
- Reports any deviations of food safety or quality to immediate supervisor
- Submit raw material prepped appropriately to each required lab department
- Keep all project materials organized neatly in the warehouse
- Once released, coordinates shipment of finished samples to customers
REQURIEMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Chemistry, Biochemistry or directly related field.
- Employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- Working knowledge of good manufacturing systems, familiarity with regulatory and manufacturing SOPs and cGMPs, preferred.
- Forklift training preferred
- Proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
