Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 3rd/4th Year Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic electrical team. Duties
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters to complete wiring tasks efficiently
- Perform conduit bending and electrical wiring tasks following NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and safety procedures
- Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of construction work to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members on construction site projects, including framing carpentry when necessary for conduit routing or system mounting
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or completing the 3rd or 4th year of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program
- Demonstrated industrial electrician experience or commercial electrician experience preferred
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards for electrical safety) and NEC compliance essential
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, conduit benders, and electrical wiring techniques
- Familiarity with electrical systems installation including low voltage and high voltage applications
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and protocol adherence on construction sites
- Experience with construction site work, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and framing carpentry is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred for job site access
