Duties/Responsibilities:

Investigate consumer complaints and identify potential legal violations.

Provide expert legal advice to clients on their consumer rights and protections.

Draft and file legal documents related to consumer protection cases.

Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, settlements, arbitrations, and court proceedings.

Research and analyze legal issues related to consumer fraud and deceptive practices.

Pursue litigation against companies engaged in unfair business practices.

Education and Experience:

J.D. degree from an accredited law school

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in consumer protection law, including DTPA claims, litigation, and arbitration.

Membership in the Texas State Bar Association.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift to 20 pounds at times.
