Sales Manager
Job description
We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Hotel Sales Manager to lead sales efforts and drive revenue growth for our Holiday Inn Express. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong relationship-building skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven ability to generate new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve occupancy, ADR, and revenue goals.
- Prospect and secure new corporate, group, government, sports, and leisure accounts.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and local businesses.
- Conduct outside sales calls
- Manage RFPs, negotiate contracts, and follow up on leads.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Utilize IHG sales tools and CRM systems to track opportunities and results.
- Collaborate with hotel leadership to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Represent the hotel at local chamber, tourism, and industry events.
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel sales experience preferred (IHG experience a plus).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong prospecting, networking, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel sales software.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local sales calls.

Experience Required:
- Sales: 3 years (Preferred)
- IHG Hospitality: 1 year (Preferred)
