The next head varsity girls lacrosse coach at CCDS will be expected to be a role model for the students and be able to build upon the strong tradition of CCDS athletics. Our girls lacrosse coach will be expected to lead the program with character, class, and integrity and to develop a lacrosse program that is consistent with the high standards of the Cincinnati Country Day community.
Position
Cincinnati Country Day School is seeking a head varsity girls lacrosse coach.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the director of athletics and associate director of athletics to manage all aspects of the girls lacrosse program
- Clearly communicate with players and families about expectations for being a member of the girls lacrosse team
- Lead a coaching staff that develops a positive culture that allows lacrosse players to develop and enjoy the sport of lacrosse
- Plan practices to improve individual and team performance
- Collaborate with the athletic department to build a cohesive lacrosse program, from Middle School through Upper School
- Attend all practices and games
Qualifications
- All coaches must possess a Pupil Activity Permit (PAP) through the Ohio Department of Education. CCDS will reimburse costs of obtaining certificates and completing classes. PAP Requirements:
- Complete Coaches Tool Chest
- Background/fingerprint check (every five years after hire and any time requested by CCDS)
