Our top heavy civil/ client in the Bronxville area seeks a heavy civil Project Manager
The role:
Heavy civil project manager. This role is for an experienced heavy civil project manager and requirements listed below. This company is always busy. MUST have heavy civil project experience
- Requirements of heavy civil project manager
- 8 -10 plus years minimum as a heavy civil construction Project Manager.
- MUST have project experience in heavy civil (our client does energy/transmission projects, reservoirs, damns, bridge work)
- MUST have site or any other relevant heavy civil type experience for civil projects (roadways, bridges, etc)
- experienced with submittals/ change orders, managing subs.
- 4 year degree
Responsibilities of heavy civil PM
1. Project Planning and Scheduling
- Review project plans, timelines, and heavy construction schedules.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to finalize project scope and milestones.
- Utilize Critical Path Method (CPM) or other scheduling tools.
2. Budget and Cost Control
- project budgets.
- Review and expenditures and change orders.
- Track costs and forecast cash flow to ensure the project stays within budget.
3. Contract Administration
- Manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
up to 250k- senior level role
