Real Estate Field Operations Manager

We are a growing real estate investment company actively buying, renovating, renting, and flipping properties throughout Indianapolis. We are looking for a highly reliable, hands-on Field Operations Manager to become our eyes and ears on the ground.
This is not a desk job.
You will be responsible for visiting properties, overseeing renovations, evaluating potential acquisitions, meeting contractors, documenting progress, and ensuring projects stay on track.
Responsibilities
- Visit active renovation projects throughout Indianapolis.
- Monitor contractor performance and quality of work.
- Take detailed photos and videos and provide regular updates.
- Verify that work is completed according to scope and budget.
- Meet contractors, inspectors, suppliers, and property managers.
- Conduct walkthroughs of potential investment properties.
- Assist in estimating renovation costs and identifying major repair items.
- Report issues, delays, and budget concerns before they become problems.
- Perform final punch-list inspections before properties are listed or rented.
- Coordinate field activities between acquisitions, construction, and property management teams.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of residential construction and renovations.
- Ability to identify quality workmanship and construction defects.
- Understanding of real estate investing, rehabs, rentals, or property management.
- Comfortable walking properties in various conditions.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
