Duties
- Operate laundry machines such as washers and dryers to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or special items using appropriate solvents and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sinks, workstations, and storage spaces, adhering to safety standards
- Fold, package, and organize clean linens for distribution throughout the hotel or facility
- Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and linen stock to ensure seamless operations
- Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation to promote a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior experience in laundry services or cleaning roles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Familiarity with laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, ironing machines, and dry cleaning tools is advantageous
- Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of guest service standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
