Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Manage access control systems to authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Operate CCTV surveillance equipment to monitor activity across the facility and surrounding areas.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies by following established procedures such as fire safety protocols, first aid assistance, AED operation, and CPR.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events.
- Perform background checks on new personnel or vendors as part of the onboarding process.
- De-escalate conflicts using conflict management techniques and maintain a calm demeanor during tense situations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems including CCTV and access control technologies.
- Experience with law enforcement procedures or military background preferred.
- Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills for incident report writing and customer service interactions.
- Familiarity with fire safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Proficient in conflict de-escalation strategies and conflict management techniques.
