Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Air Import/Export Operation Specialist to join our growing logistics team. The successful candidate will handle daily air freight operations, ensuring all import and export shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with international trade regulations. The ideal applicant has prior experience in freight forwarding and is passionate about delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of air import and export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipment coordination.
- Prepare and review MAWB, HAWB, Arrival Notice, B/Ls, and related shipping documents with accuracy.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any irregularities or delays with carriers, customs brokers, or customers.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, overseas agents, and clients to ensure seamless cargo movement.
- Maintain up-to-date shipment records and documentation using GoFreight or similar TMS systems.
- Assist in rate quotation, billing, and post-shipment follow-up as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in air freight forwarding or logistics operation preferred.
- Familiarity with GoFreight or other logistics software is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- bilingual in Chinese/English Preferred
