Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, Board-Certified NP/PA for a locum tenens opportunity providing maternity leave coverage at an established outpatient primary care clinic in beautiful Olympia, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys community-based care and is comfortable treating patients across the lifespan in a collaborative outpatient environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Manage patients in 10-hour shift
- Provide mental health assessment and management as appropriate
- Deliver patient-centered, high-quality outpatient care
- Collaborate with the clinic's healthcare team
Schedule & Assignment Details
- 4 shifts per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Assignment: Maternity leave coverage
- Expected duration: ASAP through January 2027
- Practice setting: Outpatient primary care/internal medicine
- Clinic: Cooper Point Family and Internal Medicine
Requirements
- Active Washington State NP license or IMLC
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Previous primary care experience treating patients of all ages
- Comfortable managing patients with mental health needs
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly compensation: $100/hr
