Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounting records using QuickBooks
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure consistency across all financial statements
- Prepare and process journal entries, including debits & credits, to reflect financial transactions correctly
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently to ensure timely payments and collections
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation regularly to uphold data accuracy
- Assist with payroll processing and related tax experience to ensure compliance with governmental regulations
- Support budgeting activities by analyzing financial data and preparing detailed financial reports
Experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within corporate sectors
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and technical accounting concepts
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
- Familiarity with governmental accounting standards and public accounting practices is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to perform account analysis, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation accurately
- Excellent understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles and financial concepts
SysTech Handling Inc. will provide paid 1 on 1 training for this position. Experience in QuickBooks is strongly recommended for all applicants. Training and assistance to be provided during August and September 2026 with full job responsibilities starting October 1, 2026.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
