Car Wash Porter Job Summary:
The Car Wash Porter will work with in the car wash environment completing daily tasks as work load and volume dictates. Duties
that can be asked of a porter include receiving of new vehicles, picking up and delivering vehicles to be
washed, relocating rental vehicles, cleaning interior and exterior of new, used and fleet vehicles and
assisting with other car wash duties to ensure volume levels are met.
Car Wash Porter Knowledge & Experience:
- Valid driver license
- Able to
drive manual (stick shift) vehicle
- Prepared to work outside in all weather conditions.
Car Wash Porter Responsibilities:
- Clean the interior and exterior of assigned vehicles to company quality standards.
- Perform daily vehicle detailing assignments as directed by the Team Leader.
- Retrieve assigned building wash vehicles from designated locations, transport them to the Vehicle Service Center for cleaning, and return them to their original building upon completion.
- Complete the daily cleaning schedule for all assigned building wash vehicles.
- Prepare, clean, and detail rental and fleet pool vehicles to ensure they are ready for customer or operational use.
- Perform additional vehicle cleaning and preparation tasks for rental and fleet vehicles as assigned by the Team Leader.
- Safely operate company vehicles while transporting them between facilities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety policies and procedures.
- Report any vehicle damage, maintenance concerns, or safety issues to the Team Leader promptly.
- Assist with other vehicle service center duties as assigned to support daily operations.
