Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and vision to the nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care and optimal operational efficiency
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational goals
Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication among the nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Support the Executive Team in making informed decisions about nursing operations, staffing, and budgeting
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth transitions and effective care delivery
Participate in performance improvement initiatives, quality improvement projects, and patient satisfaction surveys
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accrediting agencies, and industry standards
Requirements:
Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan
Previous experience as a Director of Nursing (or equivalent leadership role)
Strong knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and procedures
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make timely decisions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
