Qualifications/Requirements:

Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

Possess a valid Michigan teacher certificate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify the needs of assigned students through formal and informal assessments

Plan, deliver, and assess learner instruction

Maintain a flexible and adaptable attitude while working in the classroom and with other staff

Maintain knowledge of the academic, social and emotional needs of learners

Use research-based instructional strategies that address the full range of cognitive levels

Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness in adjusting instruction to meet student needs

Engage students in varied experiences that meet diverse needs and promote social, emotional, and academic growth

Maintain regular communication with parents utilizing email, phone calls, and conferences

Maintain accurate and complete records in compliance with school district regulations and legal requirements
