Job Summary:
The Grader Operator is in charge for operating grading equipment. As well as responsible for achieving precise and accurate grading to create a stable foundation for construction projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Operates and maintains motor graders to perform precise grading work on construction sites.

Utilizes GPS or laser-guided systems to achieve accurate grading according to project specifications.

Prepares construction sites by clearing, grading, and leveling surfaces to create a stable foundation.

Works closely with other construction team members, including surveyors and equipment operators, to ensure project goals are met.

Adheres to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Performs routine maintenance and inspections on graders to ensure optimal performance.

Identifies and address issues or challenges encountered during the grading process.

Maintains accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and any equipment issues.

Perform other duties as assigned.

EducationExperience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least two years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to operate finish graders for extended periods.

Must be able to physically operate heavy equipment.

Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand to operate and repair heavy equipment.

Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
