Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will ensure our guests enjoy spotless accommodations by performing cleaning duties efficiently and maintaining high standards of sanitation. Your positive attitude and dedication will help create a memorable stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by disinfecting fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to keep surfaces pristine
- Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health and safety guidelines to promote guest well-being
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and other supplies to ensure guest satisfaction
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for quick resolution
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and floor care techniques including carpet cleaning
- Ability to perform laundry duties efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
- Familiarity with housekeeping management systems or procedures is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
