Deep 6 Arcade is an exciting retro arcade with pinball, video and more style games. We are a restaurant, bar and arcade. We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the face of our bar, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service, expertly crafted drinks, and a lively atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and skill will help foster a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and eager to return. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently using the Toast POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Process cash transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and POS processing systems
- Develop creative beverage recipes to enhance our menu offerings and meet guest preferences
- Restock bar supplies regularly and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service with strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and craft beer
- Familiarity with Toast's POS system for order processing and cash handling
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in a bar environment
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately using basic math skills including retail math and hospitality math concepts
- Previous experience in fine dining, banquet service, catering, or retail beverage environments is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of beverage recipe development and food industry standards
