QUICKmed Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality healthcare services in a school and community center-based setting. The ideal candidate will have strong primary care experience, excellent clinical judgment, and a passion for educating patients and promoting healthy lifestyles.
School-based healthcare experience is a plus. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, school/community staff, patients, and families to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and review patients' medical histories and records.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on appropriate diagnostic testing, including laboratory tests and imaging.
- Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, and infectious health conditions.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and clinical guidelines.
- Monitor patients' overall health and progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Promote preventive healthcare and wellness.
- Recognize when patients require additional evaluation, specialty care, or emergency services and make appropriate referrals.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and community partners.
- Stay current with advances in healthcare, clinical practices, and applicable regulations.
- Participate in professional development, research, and ongoing clinical education as appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the applicable state.
- Master's degree required; doctoral degree is a plus.
- Proven clinical experience in a clinic, hospital, emergency department, urgent care, or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong experience in primary care, including the management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Experience with preventive healthcare and patient education.
- Experience in a school-based or community healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, families, and diverse populations.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and patient care practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Professional, ethical, patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to continued professional growth and development.
Preferred Nurse Practitioner Background
Primary care experience is essential for this position.
