JOB SUMMARY
- The Central Registration Clerk is responsible for obtaining information to register services. There are three types of registration: face to face, over the phone and clinical. Quickness, accuracy and effective communication are needed to gather information to be assimilated into the hospital system.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
  - High school graduate or equivalent. Medical terminology required.
- Training and Experience
  - Previous physician office or medical facility experience including insurance background required. Medical terminology required. Computer experience, good data entry skills needed. Must have good communication and telephone skills, ability to deal with the general public in a professional and courteous manner and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Health and Background Requirements
  - Employment contingent upon successful completion of:
    - Physical
    - Background Check
  - Must be physically able to perform all job duties as assigned.
