Assistant Teacher – Job Listing
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the lead teacher to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom instruction and activities
- Support students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning
- Supervise students to ensure a safe and orderly classroom
- Aid in classroom management and behavior guidance
- Assist with record-keeping, organization, and maintenance of classroom supplies
- Contribute to a welcoming and collaborative classroom atmosphere
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in early education preferred
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
